This show looks awesome. What a beautiful porch!
"In the late 1960s, American landscape architect Lawrence Halprin and avant-garde dance pioneer Anna Halprin organized a series of experimental, cross-disciplinary workshops in San Francisco and along the coast of northern California that brought dancers, architects, environmental designers, artists, and others together in a process designed to facilitate collaboration and group creativity through new approaches to environmental awareness."

More magic from Enid Marx. The first image is a frontispiece to Marco's Animal Alphabet, made between 1979 and 2000. The little Christmas fairy is a wood engraved chapter heading for A Childhood by Francesca Allinson, published by Leonard & Virginia Woolf in 1937. From Ruth Artmonsky & Brian Webb's fantastic book, Enid Marx Design.

I found this record out thrifting the other day. Appears to be private press, titled simply "Folk Guitar." It was sleeveless, and I haven't been able to find any information about Madeleine Helfer. I like this record though because her voice sounds a bit like Josephine Foster. Very quiet, melancholy trad standards and a civil war song that is really beautiful.
